Inkverse Studios, a high-end luxury tattoo studio, underwent a much-needed rebranding to better reflect its unique blend of sophistication and edginess. The goal was to develop a brand identity that captures the studio's essence and professional edge while resonating with its target audience.

This strategic rebranding effort was aimed at enhancing the studio’s visibility and appeal, establishing a stronger presence in the luxury tattoo industry. The new brand image reflects Inkverse Studio's commitment to excellence and innovation, positioning it prominently in a competitive market.

Process

Week 1:

Day 1-2: Research and Inspiration Gathering

  • I initiated the project by delving into the world of high-end luxury tattoo studios. This included researching current industry trends, analyzing competitors, and drawing inspiration from visual elements like flowers and vines that symbolize strength. The focus was on understanding the visual language that conveys sophistication and professionalism while incorporating edgy and minimal elements.

Day 3-4: Brand Identity Development

  • With the research insights, I began crafting the brand identity for Inkverse Studio. This involved selecting a refined color palette, including 'Night' (#090A0D), 'Aqua Steel' (#119DA4), 'Urban Slate' (#747572), 'Crimson Vine' (#942326), and 'Ivory Petal' (#F9FAF7). I developed initial logo concepts and typography that aligned with the studio’s cool, edgy, yet clean aesthetic.

Day 5: Feedback and Iteration

  • I presented the initial brand concepts to the studio team for feedback. Their input guided revisions to refine the logo and other brand elements, ensuring they accurately reflected the studio’s desired image and values.

Week 2:

Day 1-2: Finalizing Brand Identity

  • I finalized the logo and brand elements, incorporating the feedback to perfect the design. The brand identity was carefully adjusted to ensure it communicated the studio’s essence of professionalism, creativity, and luxury.

Day 3-4: Collateral Design

  • With the brand identity established, I designed collateral materials including business cards, appointment cards, and social media graphics. Each piece was crafted to ensure consistency with the brand’s new look and feel.

Day 5: Presentation and Delivery

  • I compiled a comprehensive presentation of the brand identity, showcasing how the new elements come together to create a cohesive and striking image for Inkverse Studio. The presentation was prepared for internal review and client approval.

Day 6-7: Final Touches and Launch Preparation

  • Final adjustments were made based on the client’s feedback. I prepared the materials for the official launch and developed guidelines to ensure consistent application of the brand identity across all platforms.
