My journey in the digital realm has been driven by a desire to innovate and simplify the user experience.

Currently working as a UX Designer at IFS Ultimo, where I help design intuitive, enterprise-level digital experiences. Previously, I worked as a UI/UX Designer at Atlas Labs, a freelance UI Developer for for Tectera, a Canadian based digital marketing agency, and earlier, I gained valuable experience as a UI Developer intern at Artslab Creatives.

I’m Amresh — a seasoned UX Designer with a passion for crafting exceptional digital experiences. With over 4 years of experience, currently based in Colombo Sri Lanka, I bring a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project I undertake.

As part of the UX team at IFS Ultimo , I’m responsible for creating and maintaining components within the Ultimo Design System. I work extensively on evolving and documenting the system to support clear usage and knowledge transfer. I also collaborate with multiple teams across Ultimo to design new features and upgrade or maintain existing experiences within the Ultimo application.

While employed as the sole UI/UX Designer for Atlas Labs and the Horcery team, I played a pivotal role in creating reusable components for the Design System integral to an equestrian-focused SAAS application. I designed multiple screens for both mobile and web applications and collaborated on developing multiple new internal dashboard, improving workflow efficiency by 15%.

While employeed as a freelance UI Developer at Tectera, I specialized in enhancing client website traffic by 12% through strategic redesigns focused on mobile responsiveness and modern aesthetics.

During my internship at Artslab Creatives, I gained valuable experience in UI/UX development, further honing my skills in project management and collaboration.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across various industries, including health, finance, retail, and automotive. From startups to established corporations, I’ve collaborated with a diverse range of clients. I hold a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Westminster, where I developed a strong foundation in design principles and programming languages.

My academic background, combined with my practical experience, allows me to approach design challenges with a unique perspective and a commitment to excellence.
